We are experts in the Parisian housing market, in particular in the commercial, technical, linguistic, cultural, legal and fiscal fields. We both speak French and English fluently.

Honest and impartial advice
We are a househunter in Paris, not a broker. Therefore we do not have a broker portfolio with our own apartments that we are trying to sell. As a result, we have no conflicting interests. We can show you the full range of properties across all brokers and including private sellers. We have good contacts with a network of excellent real estate agents in Paris. They sometimes propose apartments to us before they put them up for sale the "open market".
We further guarantee that we do not receive any commission, premium or reward from any of our suppliers or partners. Possible benefits, for example a discount, are entirely for you.
By French law, the transfer of ownership of French real estate may only take place in the presence of a competent (French) notary. If you know or have a good notary in Paris, we will work with him. But otherwise we can introduce you to a trustworthy local notary who is used to working with non-French residents. Likewise, we have a network of local contractors and other service providers with whom we have worked for many years.
The lowest possible price
ParisScarabee Househunters advises you on the best purchase price. We know with which offering price you should start the bidding process in order to get where you want to be. There is not always room for negotiation in the selling price. Many Parisian apartments are sold the same day they come up for sale, and often for the asking price. But if there is still room to lower the price, we will find it for you. We negotiate on the cutting edge. Without losing the deal. You also save time, money and effort by hiring us, because you achieve a better result faster and more efficiently. With our help you will prevent potential misunderstandings, annoyance and frustration and possibly even a bad buy.
Transparent remuneration, agreed in advance
ParisScarabee Househunters will agree with you in advance the total price for our services. Our intake interview is free of any obligation and charges. After that, and if you decide to hire us, we charge you a fixed retainer fee of 1000 Euro excluding 20% French VAT. And, if you ultimately decide not to buy anything, that’s all you pay us. Only if we succeed and you do buy your flat in Paris, you will pay us the remainder of the total fee we previously agreed upon.
