Metro line 8 from Balard to Créteil has been extended—not underground or on rails, but up in the air by cable car! From the old metro terminus, you can now travel four more stops on line C1, high above the buildings, roads, and obstacles, in a comfortable gondola of the new cable line. Affectionately called “Tramway C1” by the RATP, with the “C” referring to Câble. Bon voyage!
