IKEA opened its first full fledge city store in\u00a0 the heart of Paris. If the concept proofs viable, the Swedish furniture giant wants to open more of these shops in big cities all over the world.<\/p>\n

There are already IKEA shops in London, Madrid and Stockholm, but these only sell one product line. In the heart of Paris IKEA offers a broad scala of products. There’s even a restaurant.<\/p>\n

IKEA is present in France since 1981. The store on the Boulevard de la Madeleine is the 34th one. It is some 5400 square meters in surface, occupying two floors. Some 140 people are employed there.<\/p>\n
